Presenting a never before read story again, this time Mandrake finds himself in an action packed adventure trying to find the identity of an unknown plane. Thrilling story that has a great ending. Narda and Lothar are on a dangerous trip above in the ghost plane and make the story interesting. I wish they could come up with such story lines nowadays.
Let me know if you liked this story. This has been a contribution from Tom Williams, who has been generous to share these scans from Toronto Star newspapers. Many thanks to him from all of us.
Does anyone have a subscription to the archives? Many dailies stories I have are in different languages, but if English scans are available, it would help. I think the archives of Toronto Star have these, not one of the greatest sources as the scans are just readable and we can at least complete reading the stories for those of us who can only read English... it is sad since publishers in Italian, Swedish, French, Serbian and others produced many stories which English readers cannot read them to enjoy. Let me know if you would like to help.
I hope someone is out there to trying find a way to translate comic strips in other languages to English and those non english readers must be having the same issue trying to find a way to convert English into the language of their choice. There has to be a software solution to do this.
What do you think?

Thank you Bala!
Thanks for the strip.
And this is exactly what I am trying to do, translate few strips into english from french and other languages. Somebody more proficient in both languages can be of much help. If someone can just provide translated text, I can fill them into speech balloons.
Thanks Bala for another rare strip.
And I hope we do get some genuine translators to help us in this effort. May be trying out sites like Komics-live can be of help. They are a helpful lot and considerate ppl.
Thanks Bala! I haven't seen this one anywhere before.
Col.W: You are welcome.
TPH: You are welcome. Fantastic idea, will try to persuade some friends to do it. Each strip in itself will be a project, and depending on the number of weeks it has run, can be quite an effort. I am curious how you can edit text in the speech balloons. I will let you know if Emile Schwarz can help. She is from France and knows French and English very well.
Rafiq: You are welcome. Very true, this in itself is a big effort converting non English strips. I did not know about Komics Live, will take a look.
Ben: You are welcome. Hope I can find more contributors who can scan or have access to strips that have been missing.
Thanks for this one. It certainly is a rare one.
Jai, you are welcome. Enjoy.
One strip is missing: 31/1/1948.
THANKS :-D
The strips dated 1948-01-31 is missing in the archive (and from the page).
Contact me (ask Bala for email) and explain what exactly you want from me / what I can do for the group.
