Balaji had posted the version of this story as published in Feature Book 49, published by David McKay publications, in this blog quite a while ago. Many if not all of us have that version, which unfortunately was incomplete.
I was able to get a Hi-Resolution color version in Spanish from Teo, a Mandrake fan from Spain. I was also able to download the complete English version, though in Low resolution from AWW. Magnus Magnusson was magnanimous to provide me with a complete version of this story in English and in color. But unfortunately, it looked like the textual material had been translated from Swedish. I also had a Hi-res incomplete Black & White version of this story.
I sent all these to my friend, the well known and talented blogger TPH, who runs a wonderful blog where he showcases his talent converting Black and White strips into color. And for the last 29 weeks he has been posting a strip every Sunday, by using his PS skills to insert the English text into the colored Spanish strips. Click on his name in the above line and you will be transported to his magical blog, where you can enjoy his talent.
You can download the full story here and shower your thanks on Teo and TPH.
Enjoy,
Venkitachalam
UPDATE: Looks like the link reflected an older version instead of the correct version. I have updated it. Please download again.

Thanks to Teo, TPH and Venkit to provide such a wonderful and a very well worked on strip. I acknowledge and appreciate the efforts and expertise put to achieve this wonderful result.
Definitely we all know and are pleasantly impressed by the expertise of the TPH in coloring, Translating, editing etc. before posting wonderful strips.
Simply Great . Thanks all involved
There is problem with the download link, it points to the Magnus version previously uploaded on this blog. Venkit, please correct it and replace it with the new version.
And thanks for kind words of appreciation. It has been a good experience working on this strip and I have fully enjoyed it. But the main credit for finding so many versions lies with you.
Sorry about that. Those of you who had downloaded earlier, please click on that same link and download the correct version.
My compliments to TPH for the wonderful PS work. It is beautiful. Also thanks to Venkit, Teo & Magnus.
Hello Venkit...
I've been a Spanish mandrake fan since I was younger...
First of all... sorry if my English is not good enough to express all I want... I love English language and I can read it well but I can't express myself in it as well as I would like.
I have followed your blog for the last few years because of my interest in Mandrake.
I have a lot of Spanish publications of our hero but many of them were translated into Spanish from Italian versions instead of the original in English. Moreover, publishers have not hesitated to cut graphs and speech bubbles when the Spanish text didn't fit... And, what is worse, there were many misspellings and bad translations...
For all this, five or six years ago I tried to scan my mandrake books in a hd resolution ... I downloaded the original daily strips and Sunday pages from many Internet places (mainly from ComicsKingdom site- witch I subscribed); and using a program called "The Gimp" (a free clone of PhotoShop) I tried to put the adventures of Mandrake in order from the beginning.
To share my work with others for free I signed up in CRG where I posted emule links. This is the page link:

So... this mornig I visited your blog and I was astonished... You had posted a S007 Sunday Mandrake story from my work... and you wrote "... I was able to get a Hi-Resolution color version in Spanish from Teo, a Mandrake fan from Spain..." but nothing about me.
The reason for this comment is to inform you about that... I have done this work only to share it and I don't expect anything except your recognition of my work, the same as I do when I use other people's work to make mine...
I admire what you are doing on your blog sharing Mandrake's stories and I follow your blog... I encourage you to continue doing it... Thanks for all your work.
Forgive me again for my bad English...
Sincerely yours...
Fereugeen
@Fereugeen - Thanks for your comment and nice to get the acquaintance of yet another Mandrake fan.
If there was any mistake in identifying the source correctly, it would be only due to ignorance of the language. I am sorry for that. There were quite a few daily & Sunday strips in Emule under Teo's name, which I had downloaded quite a while ago. Next Time I use any of the Spanish scans, I shall be more careful to identify the source correctly.
What an awesome effort, Thank you so much Gentlemen Venkit, Teo and The Phantom Head! for making more Mandrake Sundays available to comic lovers across the world.
