Weekend Edition to celebrate the home coming of my daughter from the hospital:
Since I am having many technical issues with imageshack renumbering and reordering the scans making it tedious to post this blog, I will borrow a page from Anupam's blog the way he does it. Since, I think most visitors/fans download the strip/comic first and then read offline. Let me know if this is a good approach, since I am short on time.
07/10/2007 UPDATE: All remaining images uploaded and posted today.

Bala, download ,specially without-premium is very slow n irritating process... so, there r visitors like me who read all comics on-line only as both time n process-of-download are a burden
I understand ur potion... so, why not post comic less frequently?? [we've already 4 comic-blogs.. so no hurry]
If u do it,it'll benifite both of us
wait 4 ur reply
sagnik this is 96 page comic,, very difficult to mangage on imageshack
manage
I wud suggest,, post the strip in 3 parts
Thnku a lotttttttttt Bala 4 on-line availability... actually i spend time on computers mostly in Internet/ on-line ...that's why i first read them & then only download selected/rare comics
BUT, take ur time man, just post comics in ur spare times.. no hurry.... i'm{& there r lotsa pple like me!}HERE as long as u guys post something on MANDRAKE /PHANTOM ...& that's in any frequency!
Bye
Two pages have got corrupted (page 06 of 09 Pioneer and 17 of 13 pioneer).
if possible please post these individually.
thanks
@Sagnik: You are welcome. I understand the frustration of a slow bandwidth connection. I will try to post the scans as time permits. Thanks for the patience.
@ICC: you are very right, I think if I have scans like 96 pgs long I should post in 3 portions. My problem with imageshack was even when file renaming happens it is difficult to sync the actual image with the file uploaded, so it becomes tedious to post. This was not the case before so it took much lesser time.
@Anonymous: I checked the cbr file I uploaded and both the pages are not corrupted, also, I saw page 06 of 09 Pioneer and the image looks ok. Let me know if you still have issues.
Hi,
Thanks very much for posting the comic. Great effort. But, I am curious about one thing. Are you not breaking any copyrights by doing this?
The comic is fine, but mediashare is down most of the time for download, and the full comic is not posted on the blog. Maybe some of the final pages are missing?
@Suresh: The general rule I know of is that any part of the publication may not be reproduced as long as the publisher is still publishing the story, but these are from 1939-1940's and are not available for sale in bookstores, so I think it should be ok.Let me know if I'm wrong.
The final pages are still being made available as it is tedious process to sync the jpeg file with the story sequence due to imageshack's renumbering
Hi Bala,just cool man!
There's 0% chance of any copyright issue!! After 40 years from cancelled the publication ANY BODY can publish a book & for non-profit publication, there's no rule ONLY IF ur not publishing them in paper ..
These strips /Magic comics r "prior 1967"...
SO, DONT BOTHER AT ALL!!
BTWN, 4 our CURIOUS frnd '~~~Suresh~~~'...THERE R A FREE COMIC BOOK SITE [e.g. our frnd Anupam]where U'LL get links of THOSE COMICS still publish regularly or just stopped few years ago!!
And, they r here from '05 already published above 4000 links!!
so, chilax & read/download these TIME-LESS comics...
Bye
@Sagnik: Thanks for clearing it up.
@Suresh: Enjoy the strip.
Hi Bala,
Firstly very much thnxz 4 making available TOTAL strips ...specially in ur busy schedule..
BUT ONE THING i've notice in the 2ND/LAST UPLOADED images ALL "copr. 1940 kingeatures..." are erased!!
u did it OR erased in original???
Plse dont bother that 'copyright issue'then...WE LOVE TO SEE THOSE "back year tags"...it's very nostalgic!
Bye,SG
