#093:D230 The Fisherman 12-14-1998 to 02-13-1999

Saw a couple of awesome Hindi movies over the weekend. DVD has English sub-titles for non Hindi speakers. I encourage everyone to take a look at these wonderful movies:

1. Taare Zameen Par (The Stars are here on Earth)
I dedicate this post to those children who suffer from dyslexia. This movie brings out the fact that there are so many children around the world suffering from this ailment and it is so difficult for the world to recognize these kids and the way they live and go about their activities. After seeing the movie I guarantee you will walk away with a tear in your eye.

2. Chakde India (Come On India)
Wonderful movie, how a Hockey player who lost a championship for the country comes back as a coach to take the country's women's field hockey team to a World Championship and gets it done with the players he has. Wow! Thrilling to the end.

Now, to the comic....

Here's another wonderful front cover creation by Comic.Crazy and compilation of daily scans into a comic book format. Wish I had high quality scans... Excellent work. Thanks again from all of us.

The cloud men were presented long time ago in another Sunday. I happened to get these from Magnus, our swedish contributor. Thanks for scanning and sharing your scans with us.

Only a part of the sunday was is so difficult to get these scans today. If someone has the complete story, I would appreciate your contribution.

Again a fab cover frm CC!! I was waiting 4 this Daily, which's eventully the LAST Complete one frm Falk(D230)! Thnx a lot Bala!:)

Frakly, after read many a Mandrake Ijcs/DCs/strips what I felt that, while the Mandrake-Dailies r MORE realistic ones,MOST of the Sundays r majorly based on Fascinating concepts!Of'cos those excite ardent Man-Fans more .(famous examples r like 'Flame Pearl series' or 'Moxley U trips' or lately 4-year-long 9-part 'Kraken series' )
