For this post, it took me a lot of time to come up with the scans. I had a project in mind. One of our contributors, Tom Williams some time ago had given me some dailies. The problem is in the quality of the scans. These daily comic strips are between 1948 & 1954 and were posted in the Toronto Star Newspaper. Tom was kind enough to get them to me. I had to extract each day's strip from the PDF and create a jpg file and do some basic cleanup. This takes some effort and time to come up with the complete story depending on the length of the story.
I found so many scans are very low quality and barely readable but nevertheless one can get the gist of the story. I am not an expert in editing graphics but if anyone wants to make an attempt to do a better cleanup it will be much appreciated. Better yet to find somebody who has these scans and can rescan them at a much higher quality.
The plot of the story is very simple and adventure is enjoyable except for the scan quality. Let me know if this project is worth proceeding, I really liked Phil Davis's scans. I am unable to find any high quality scans in this period of time. Tom, Thank you very much for sharing your treasure.

What a Vintage scan... I would love to read it when time permits. Thanks for Sharing.
