Here is the second and final part of Daily 227. Wish you all a happy Ganesh Chathurthi for all people celebrating God Ganesh's Birthday (big festival in India for Hindus) I bought a book on Ebay published in 1939... Here is what the book looks like. Pretty neat.
Thanks for visiting this blog, perhaps the one and only place on the web having the most Mandrake comic strips.
If you happen to come across or have Mandrake comic strips/books (in English preferably) please scan them and I can post them here. Please email me if you have any questions.
My aunt who lives in Italy is doing a fantastic job writing recipes in Italian for South Indian Food (she's from Mysore) for Italians who want to try some ...Here is a link to an article published in a newspaper from Bangalore... http://www.deccanherald.com/Content/Jul282007/she2007072715484.asp

Thanks for the scans. Is thie 1939 book a comic or semi-illustrated storybook?
pattu
Thanks Pattu,
The 1939 book is a semi-illustrated book, with every odd numbered page having the story and the even numbered page having the graphic...
Bala can you post few of its pages so that we can have a idea of the book.
Sure, I will scan a few pages and post them some time
