You seem to be on a roll. Thanx for the comic.

Page 18 is a repeat of page 17 and it does not finish properly. An edited edition that I have of this comic (some panels have been deleted if you use it against Tom's contribution so it is noticeable in some aspect of how incomplete mine is)has about two pages left to this story. Any chance of a complete issue?

btw keep up the good work....I have not seen a lot of these comics in any form and they are a pleasure, especially the early stories drawn by Phil Davis....lovely drawings if you're an artist.

At least I did read a lot of them in the 1950's.....that shows how far back I can go! LOL

I think with the great help of Bala, we all are enjoying a lot of rarest of Mandrake stories otherwise these are impossible to get. Really very nice efforts, only a site solely devoted to Mandrake looks to have been fulfilled.
Thanx a lot. The more rare Mandrake comics are comics, the more greedy we are becoming for Mandrake comics .Keep it up.

I think that the first Mandrake's story is :"Mandrake against the Cobra".

Very good story, Mandrake & co don't do anything at all, all action is by Jami and his family. Great vintage strip. Thanks!

MTM,continue the great work...the very words of Ajay suggest you are on the right path to achieve something great.Keep it up.
Considering the frequencies these days(of all blogs) i just feel as if all the gardens around the country(and outside) are blooming
with the fragrances of flowers called INDRAJALS and STRIPS of the great characters like Phantom,Mandrake,Bahadur and others.

Bala first of all accept my sincere and heartiest appreciation with thanks for the nice job you are doing to unearth these very early Mandrake strips for us.
As Ajay and others have said already we are waiting for the other Pioneer Mandrake Sundays from you.
Hope they will be coming soon.

@Comic60: You are welcome. Just whenever time permits...
@Anon: Thanks for noticing that. I posted all the images given to me by TOM. You can email me the missing panels that you have and I will post them. Don't have any other panels to complete this story. You are welcome. Lucky for you that you got a chance to read those 50's stories. Truly fabulous art work by Davis. Email me and we can get to know you better than anon.
@Chatur Cheeta: You are welcome. Just read your post. Makes us all bloggers feel good.
@Nithish/Gowtham: Even I have been wanting to see/read the first Mandrake Daily/Sunday don't know if anyone has ever posted it. Will be on the lookout and let you all know if I get it.
@Ajay: You are welcome. Glad you are all liking it, very true, these are indeed very rare strips and rightly said, the more all of us get access to these strips the more we want to read. That was the idea I had by making a blog solely on Mandrake. Will try to keep posting as & when time permits.
@Grimgrom: The Deepwoods site says The Cobra 11 Jun 1934 24 Nov 1934 24 weeks is the first daily. Let me know if you find/have it.
@Ruchi: Very true. You are welcome.
@Bahadur: Chandan, you are very right. I feel the same. By blogging I am able to get to know so many Mandrake fans....
@CW:You are welcome. Thanks for the appreciation. I will definitely try to post the Pioneer Sundays, as & when time permits will scan and post. Thanks for the patience. Been very busy at work & at home (with a 6 mo old baby).
